Although acute cases of tendon section are commonly treated in the emergency room, there may be cases where this has not been diagnosed or treated early on, and these can be evaluated at consultation. On the other hand, lesions of the tendons of the fingers often leave sequelae that may or may not have a surgical indication for function improvement, namely adhesions that limit the range of movements.
