What is it?
Labiaplasty, ninfoplasty or labial reduction is a surgical procedure that corrects excess skin or mucosa in this area, which may arise after pregnancy, with age, or in congenital or adolescent cases. Both the transverse component — how far the labia minora protrude beyond the labia majora — and the longitudinal component, associated with unattractive pleating, are treated.
By reducing the size of the labia minora, the procedure aims to restore their original size and tension. This is achieved using a wedge excision and broken-line technique, unlike techniques limited to tangential excision, which may not adequately address longitudinal excess and pleating.
Filling the labia majora may be combined with this procedure to produce a rejuvenating effect by restoring volume.

Rejuvenation of the labia majora with fat grafting
What is it?
Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer, fat injections or lipofilling, is a surgical procedure — unlike hyaluronic acid treatment, which is non-surgical — that uses the patient’s own fat to fill irregularities and grooves or increase volume.
Aesthetic uses of lipofilling include correction of age-related facial volume loss, particularly loss of cheek fat, deep folds from the nose to the corners of the mouth and, in some cases, lines between the lower eyelids and cheeks. It is also one of the methods used for lip augmentation and may smooth irregularities caused by poorly performed liposuction.
Increasing breast or buttock volume with the patient’s own fat, including the so-called Brazilian Butt Lift, is currently one of the most requested aesthetic procedures.
The fat required for limited liposculpture is harvested through one or more incisions measuring 3 to 5 mm, usually from the abdomen or thigh.
The procedure has the additional advantage of combining liposuction of other body areas with use of the removed fat.

What is it?
Filler treatment is a non-surgical procedure — unlike fat grafting, which is surgical — that uses injectable fillers to improve wrinkles, furrows and irregularities or increase volume. More superficial fillers may also improve skin hydration. Hyaluronic acid, a non-permanent filler, is preferred because of its better safety profile.
Products commonly used for the face are not suitable for this area of the body. Specific hyaluronic acid injectables are available for the genital region.
